The marina in Malbork commissioned /May 2012/

Date added: 2014-04-28, Time11:47:28

Malbork is the largest city along the route of the Nogat River. The river is the southern arm of the Zulawska Loop, flowing on the Nogat River, the Vistula River and the Szkarpawa River , so we are able to make the loop and return to the starting point of our cruise. So far sailors and water sports enthusiasts have not been provided with a professional marina with support facilities in Malbork. There was no place to use the toilet and shower, throw away rubbish,no tank water, and a place to leave the boat safely. So a new marina was constructed inside the framework of Stage I of the project Zulawska Loop. The investment was executed at the height of the Sport and Recreation Centre, at Parkowa street. As part of the project a length of 55m along the river bank was also strengthened as the marina area was developed. There is also a ramp (slip), on the river - floating platforms with gangways, equipped with y-booms. The Social facility is equipped with toilets and showers, and even a small kitchen. The marina is fenced and illuminated. The opening ceremony of the marina and the sailing season will take place at the same time on the 5th of May, with the presence of representatives from the government, local government, Malbork County and Malbork City. The task was completed by Malbork City Municipality.
