Be well prepared!

Plan cruise route and stopping place in detail. Do not leave the dock if you are not sure about efficiency of your boat and its equipment, on which you are going to flow. The same applies to your crew members.

Avoid falling over!

Show humility towards water and wind! Have a good orientation in evaluating weather conditions, trust meteorologists, watch the sky and water. Reef sails, reduce the surface on which wind pushes soon enough. Close cabin and board openings to avoid being flooded when yacht falls over. For its safety the crew should be on board! If it is possible go to the nearest, safe, enclosed place. Avoid unnecessary and sharp manoeuvres, crew movement on small boat. Do not let the loss of speed otherwise you lose ability to manoeuvre.

After falling over

Until help has come to the place of event, rescue action is led by helmsman of the yacht. After the rescue unit has arrived, rescue action is led by its commander, whose commands must always be carried out! In not circumstances do allow the crew to come back on the yacht!

Child on the board

Child not only on board, but also in the port, must wear supporting jacket; if you do not have it, child must wear lifesaving jacket. They are recommended for adults, who cannot swim. It will be safer!

Be careful about nets!

Observe the surface of water, most fishing equipment is marked. Avoid flowing between arranged surface nets and fishing nets, do not manipulate them, do not move!

Keep connection!

Pack mobile phone into water resistant pouch and store in an easily accessible place - preferably in packet of jacket you are wearing. This will make it easier to call for help, communicate with rescue units in the event of an accident on the water

For your safety

Store supporting jackets in an easily accessible place; wear them in the event of sailing in wind greater than 4B (7 m/s, 25 km/h)! Regardless of swimming skills.

Warning! Obstacles!

Wires, conducting electrical energy, hang over most rivers and channels. It is the real threat for crafts sailing with masts. Before you start sailing, check at what height they occur.

Take care of the environment!

Have strong sacks for wastes, empty it in designated places. Pour away water after washing-up, laundering, etc. at a considerable distance from the bank. In any case do not pour away washings; in particular with the content of chemical cleaning agents, do not pour away into water or in the immediate vicinity of water on the land. In any circumstances do not allow for leakage of fuel or engine oils to water! If this happens, use all possible means to remove it from the water surface (the fire department will help you)!

Respect the nature

Do not reach the bank by breaking through the bank vegetation. This is an irreplaceable refuge for many species of birds, fish and other animals. In addition, it provides natural protection zone for water, capturing and stopping waste water from the land. Do not destroy trees, bushes and water and meadow vegetation! Fire starting may take place only in designated areas. If you start fire in another place, after extinguishing pour water on it and cover with sand, so that it cannot cause fires and do not mar the bank. Do not bother water fowl; you are just a guest, they are citizens!
